The Romanian Astrologers Association invites you the the 15th Meeting of  the AAR Congress, on November 2-3, 2019 in Bucharest, Romania.

First day: Saturday, November 2, 2019

WORKSHOP „PRACTICAL HORARY ASTROLOGY” BY JOHN FRAWLEY

Place: Cișmigiu Hotel (Lipscani meeting room) – 38, Regina Elisabeta Boulevard, Bucharest. Starts at 9:30 am. 6 hours workshop, including lunch break and two coffe breaks. A detailed schedule will be soon available.

Our special guest is the famous English astrologer JOHN FRAWLEY, whose books, „The Real Astrology” and „The Real Astrology Applied” are a must in this area. For the first day of the event, John will hold a 6 hours lecture on „Practical Horary Astrology”. At the end of the lecture each student will receive a participation certificate.

This is an enormous opportunity to learn horary astrology from a master like John, who is eager  to share his vast knowledge and astrological tips. But let’s whatch this video to see what he prepared for us:

The access to the workshop is based on a DONATION of 350 lei. If you are a member of the Romanian Astrologers Association, the expected donation is 300 lei. This will be paid on site, before the start of the workshop.

Festive dinner – the 15th anniversary of the Romanian Astrologers Association

If you wish to celebrate with us our 15th anniversary, please select it on the registration form in order to book your place and choose the menu. The fee for the menu will be paid on Saturday, the secretary will be available during the breaks. You are welcome to the event even if you don’t attend the workshop.

Astrology Symposium

Place: Capitol Hotel (Luvru Hall), 29, Victoriei Road, Bucharest.
Starts around 11:00 – 11:30 am. About 6 hours lectures, including lunch break and several small breaks. A detailed schedule will be soon available.

The second day of the event will begin with the General Assembly of The Romanian Astrologers Association (members access only), followed by a symposium dedicated to this annual event. The Romanian astrologers will lecture on several topics. As always, the entrance at the symposium is free for all those who love astrology.

About John Frawley

John Frawley (born 16 May 1955 in London, England) is a traditional astrologer, writer and educator, who has been noted for the practicality and directness of his approach, a depth of scholarship, and a provocative, challenging and witty style.

Frawley became interested in astrology at a very early age. Being a child, he felt good to know something that his friends didn’t know, but then to be fascinated how astrology gave a different model of the world than what he was being taught in school.

John went through the various schools of modern astrology, but was repeatedly frustrated at their limitations.

In 1993 he encountered the work of 17th-century English astrologer William Lilly. Taking formal training from Olivia Barclay, he decided to specialize in western traditional astrology, which he perceives as having a rigorously logical approach, a capacity to deliver precise and concrete delineation, verifiable judgements and a foundation in a cosmology inseparable from a religious or spiritual faith. William Lilly has remained the greatest and the single influence on his work.

From 1996 to 2006, Frawley edited and produced The Astrologer’s Apprentice magazine. In 2001, he launched his publishing company, Apprentice Books.

His first book, “The Real Astrology”, was commissioned to provide a satirical critique of modern astrology and won the Spica Award International Book of the Year in 2001.

It was followed by several further published works: “The Real Astrology Applied”, “The Horary Textbook” and “Sports Astrology”. All titles have been translated into several languages and all of them can be ordered online on the author’s website.

The term „The Real Astrology” was coined by Frawley as a distinct term for the modern-day practice and application of traditional astrological methods.

In the late 1990s, Frawley regularly appeared on British television, including hosting his own daily program Frawley and the Fish on L!VE TV, the Fish being a well-known sports journalist. He featured in Odds on Sport, Predictions! and a number of other British television shows, where he accurately predicted outcomes for high-profile sports contests.

John lives in Poland with his wife, an Old English Sheepdog and a floating population of cats. He runs his own diploma courses in traditional horary and traditional natal astrology. He has speaking and lecturing engagements around the world, being a charismatic and charming character.
